In this series of works, artist Ksenia Dolinskaya draws on images of Old Slavic mythology, recreating ten significant female goddesses from ancient Russian folklore.

Each work is accompanied by an authentic hand-embroidered towel, hand-embroidered by a folk craftswoman using traditional patterns and symbolism resonating with the image of a particular goddess.
